St Michiel Cemetry at Thiaucourt-Regnieville

The cemetery covers 40 acres and contains the graves of 4,153 American casualties of the Great War. The battle resulted in the reduction of the St Mihiel salient. A large sundial surmounted by an American eagle is situated in the centre of the cemetery. A museum and chapel containing the names of 284 missing in action lies at its edge.
